The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the University Lab Cubs (Baton Rouge, LA) and the visiting Northside Vikings (Lafayette, LA), saw University Lab's basketball team top Northside by a tally of 55-47.

The Cubs now possess a 13-0 record. They play next when they travel to Amite for a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 7. University Lab will play a Warriors team coming off a 56-35 non-league loss to South Beauregard (Longville, LA). The Warriors record now stands at 5-6.

With the loss, Northside falls to 6-7 on the campaign. The Vikings host Eunice (Eunice, LA) to play the Bobcats in a non-league bout on Monday, January 6. The Bobcats go into the bout with a record of 3-11.
