The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Oakdale (Ijamsville, MD) and the visiting River Hill Hawks (Clarksville, MD), observed Oakdale's basketball team overwhelm River Hill by a score of 47-24.

The (8-0) will now prepare for their challenge against North Hagerstown (Hagerstown, MD). The Hubs come into the Central Maryland challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, North Hagerstown was routed by Leonardtown (Leonardtown, MD), 42-24, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Hawks battle the Hammond Golden Bears (Columbia, MD) in a Howard County challenge, on Friday, January 10. River Hill will attempt to improve on its 6-1 season record.
