The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Susan Moore Bulldogs (Blountsville, AL) and the visiting Pike County Central Hawks (Pikeville, KY), observed Susan Moore's basketball team knock off Pike County Central by a score of 68-53.
The Bulldogs (11-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Vinemont (Vinemont, AL). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 11-4 record. In their last challenge, Vinemont dropped by Decatur (Decatur, AL), 70-61, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Hawks battle the Phelps Hornets (Phelps, KY) in a District 60 challenge, on Friday, January 3. Pike County Central will attempt to improve on its 4-7 season record.
