Louisiana High School Basketball - St. Joseph's Academy holds off St. Louis Catholic

In Saturday's non-league contest, the host St. Joseph's Academy Redstickers basketball team scored a close 37-34 triumph over the St. Louis Catholic Saints.
The Redstickers (5-6) will now prepare for their contest against Parkview Baptist (Baton Rouge, LA). The Eagles go into the non-league contest with a 9-4 record. In their last contest, Parkview Baptist was tipped by Vestavia Hills (Vestavia Hills, AL), 60-32, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Saints battle the Iota Bulldogs (Iota, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 3. St. Louis Catholic will attempt to improve on its 3-11 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 7-4 record after their 60-52 non-league win over East Beauregard (DeRidder, LA).
