The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Sunnyside Christian Knights (Sunnyside, WA) and the visiting Wahluke Warriors (Mattawa, WA), observed Sunnyside Christian's basketball team overwhelm Wahluke by a margin of 59-7.

The Knights (9-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Mabton (Mabton, WA). The Vikings come into the non-league challenge with a 8-1 record. In their last challenge, Mabton trounced West Valley (Spokane, WA), 84-41, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Warriors battle the River View Panthers (Kennewick, WA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 3. Wahluke will attempt to move on its 1-8 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 2-5 record after their 62-35 non-league loss to Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna (Ritzville, WA).
