The Academy of the Holy Cross Tartans (Kensington, MD) supporters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Wicomico Indians (Salisbury, MD), 75-40 in a non-league match.
With the victory, The Academy of the Holy Cross advances its record to 6-4 on the year. The Tartans travel to St. John's (Washington, DC) to face the Cadets in a non-league match on Monday, December 30. The Cadets enter the match with a record of 10-0. St. John's won 57-53 in their recent non-league match against Strongsville (Strongsville, OH)
The Indians now own a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Decatur for a Bayside - South match on Monday, January 6.
