In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Torrey Pines Falcons basketball team scored a big 59-6 triumph over the University City Centurions.
The Falcons (11-2) will now prepare for their contest against Cathedral Catholic (San Diego, CA). The Dons go into the non-league contest with a 5-0 record. In their last contest, Cathedral Catholic smashed Rancho Buena Vista (Vista, CA), 66-30, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Centurions confront the Hoover Cardinals (San Diego, CA) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, January 8. University City will attempt to better on its 2-7 season record.
