Chaparral Firebirds (Scottsdale, AZ) backers exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Catalina Foothills Falcons (Tucson, AZ), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Chaparral advances its record to 9-0 on the campaign. The Firebirds host Campo Verde (Gilbert, AZ) to clash with the Coyotes in a non-league test on Monday, December 30. The Coyotes come into the test with a record of 6-3. Campo Verde lost 1-0 in their recent non-league test against Desert Vista (Phoenix, AZ)

The Falcons now have a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Marana for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 7. Catalina Foothills will clash with a Tigers team coming off a 6-0 non-league win over South Mountain (Phoenix, AZ). The Tigers record now stands at 4-3.
