In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Benilde-St. Margaret's Red Knights ice hockey team scored a close 4-3 triumph over the Maple Grove Crimson.

The Red Knights (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Waconia (Waconia, MN). The Wildcats come into the non-league contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Waconia got by Hutchinson (Hutchinson, MN), 4-2, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Crimson battle the Totino-Grace Eagles (Fridley, MN) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 4. Maple Grove will attempt to better on its 5-6 season record. The Eagles come into the contest with a 4-2 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Centennial (Circle Pines, MN).
