Connecticut High School Ice Hockey - Bishop Hendricken drops to New Canaan

December 28, 2024: New Canaan, CT 06840

New Canaan Rams (New Canaan, CT) backers exited the stadium happy Saturday as they observed their ice hockey squad achieve victory over the visiting Bishop Hendricken Hawks (Warwick, RI), 6-3 in a non-league game.

With the win, New Canaan moves its record to 5-0 on the year. The Rams travel to Prout (Wakefield, RI) to clash with the Crusaders in a non-league game on Saturday, January 4. The Crusaders enter the game with a record of 5-1.

The Hawks now possess a 1-3 record. They play next when they host Barrington for a State Championship Division game on Saturday, January 4. Bishop Hendricken will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 2-2 non-league Martha's Vineyard Regional (Oak Bluffs, MA). The Eagles record now stands at 3-2.
