The Rosemount Irish ice hockey team scored 6 points and held the visiting Champlin Park Rebels to 3 in the Irish non-league victory on Saturday.

The Irish now own a 10-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lakeville South for a South Suburban bout on Tuesday, December 31. Rosemount will play a Cougars team coming off a 9-3 non-league loss to Minnetonka (Minnetonka, MN). The Cougars record now stands at 3-6.

With the defeat, Champlin Park moves to 5-5 on the season. The Rebels host Mounds View (Arden Hills, MN) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 2. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 2-9. Mounds View won 4-2 in their recent non-league bout against Duluth East (Duluth, MN)
