The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Steele Comets (Amherst, OH) and the host Normandy Invaders (Parma, OH), witnessed Steele's ice hockey team defeat Normandy by a score of 8-5.

The Comets (9-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Kenston (Chagrin Falls, OH). The Bombers come into the non-league challenge with a 9-3 record. In their last challenge, Kenston got by Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin (Chardon, OH), 9-2, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Invaders battle the Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin Lions (Chardon, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Sunday, December 29. Normandy will attempt to better on its 8-7 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 4-8 record after their 9-2 non-league loss to Kenston (Chagrin Falls, OH).
