North Carolina High School Basketball - South Stokes victorious over Bishop McGuinness

In Saturday's non-league contest, the host South Stokes Sauras basketball team scored a good 54-41 triumph over the Bishop McGuinness Villains.

The Sauras (5-0) will now prepare for their contest against Mount Airy (Mount Airy, NC). The Granite Bears go into the non-league contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Mount Airy was topped by Calvary Day School (Winston-Salem, NC), 75-64, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Villains battle the Bethany Community Wolves (Summerfield, NC) in a contest, on Friday, January 3. Bishop McGuinness will attempt to better on its 8-2 season record. The Wolves go into the contest with a 5-9 record after their 48-46 non-league win over Uwharrie Charter Academy (Asheboro, NC).
