Next, the Cardinals clash with the Forbush Falcons (East Bend, NC) in a non-league test, on Friday, January 3. East Wilkes will attempt to improve on its 7-3 season record. The Falcons come into the test with a 2-8 record after their 46-31 non-league loss to West Wilkes (Millers Creek, NC).

The Green Waves (2-3) will now prepare for their test against Grayson County (Independence, VA). The Blue Devils come into the non-league test with a 0-3 record. In their last test, Grayson County was routed by Radford (Radford, VA), 42-20, in a non-league test.
