The Hanford Falcons basketball team scored 78 points and limited the host Moses Lake Mavericks to 40 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Falcons now possess a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to Kennewick for a non-league game on Friday, January 3. Hanford will confront a Lions team coming off a 82-32 non-league loss to Chiawana (Pasco, WA). The Lions record now stands at 1-5.

With the loss, Moses Lake falls to 6-3 on the campaign. The Mavericks host Shadle Park (Spokane, WA) to confront the Highlanders in a non-league game on Monday, December 30. The Highlanders go into the game with a record of 0-7. Shadle Park lost 58-46 in their recent non-league game against Lakeland (Rathdrum, ID)
