The Hoover Cardinals (San Diego, CA) basketball were winner over the visiting Otay Ranch Mustangs (Chula Vista, CA), 44-31 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Cardinals now possess a 8-2 record. They play next when they travel to Helix for a non-league outing on Monday, December 30. Hoover will clash with a Highlanders squad coming off a 63-24 non-league win over Kearny (San Diego, CA). The Highlanders record now stands at 5-4.
The Mustangs (5-4) will now prepare for their outing against Granite Hills (El Cajon, CA). The Eagles enter the non-league outing with a 1-10 record. In their last outing, Granite Hills was defeated by Point Loma (San Diego, CA), 49-37, in a non-league outing.
