With the victory, Newsome upgrades its record to 5-4 on the campaign. The Wolves travel to Brandon (Brandon, FL) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 4. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 1-6. Brandon lost 75-50 in their recent non-league bout against Gaither (Tampa, FL)

Next up, the Tornadoes play the Manatee Hurricanes (Bradenton, FL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 4. Booker will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record. The Hurricanes come into the bout with a 6-7 record after their 47-45 non-league loss to Shorecrest Prep (St. Petersburg, FL).
