The Campbell-Savona Panthers (Campbell, NY) basketball nipped the host Cowanesque Valley Indians (Westfield, PA), 57-50 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Panthers (3-5) will now prepare for their test against Addison (Addison, NY). The Knights go into the non-league test with a 2-3 record. In their last test, Addison got by Odessa-Montour (Odessa, NY), 58-48, in a non-league test.

The Indians now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Wyalusing Valley for a Northern Tier outing on Tuesday, January 4. Cowanesque Valley will clash with a Rams squad coming off a 50-44 non-league loss to Sullivan County (Laporte, PA). The Rams record now stands at 2-3.
