    The Braswell Bengals basketball team scored 46 points and restricted the visiting Amarillo Sandies to 41 in the Bengals non-league victory on Wednesday.

    The Bengals now sport a 20-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mansfield Legacy for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 29. Braswell will battle a Broncos team coming off a 57-55 non-league win over Pflugerville (Pflugerville, TX). The Broncos record now stands at 12-7.

    The Sandies (17-4) will now prepare for their contest against Plano East (Plano, TX). The Panthers come into the non-league contest with a 13-1 record. In their last contest, Plano East edged Plano West (Plano, TX), 64-38, in a league contest.
