The Angleton Wildcats (Angleton, TX) basketball knocked off the host Ray Texans (Corpus Christi, TX), 48-34 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Wildcats (10-6) will now prepare for their test against Fort Bend Marshall (Missouri City, TX). The Buffalos go into the 5A Region III District 24 test with a 2-20 record. In their last test, Fort Bend Marshall went down by Westside (Houston, TX), 46-24, in a non-league test.

The Texans now own a 1-12 record. They play next when they host King for a 5A Region IV District 29 test on Friday, December 31. Ray will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 55-45 league win over Gregory-Portland (Portland, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-9.
