The Atkins Camels basketball team (Winston-Salem, NC), was overwhelmed 62-37 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the visiting South Stokes Sauras (Walnut Cove, NC)

The Sauras now possess a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lexington for a non-league battle on Thursday, December 30. South Stokes will confront a Yellowjackets team coming off a 42-38 non-league win over Carver (Winston-Salem, NC). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 6-3.

The Camels (0-4) will now prepare for their battle against Eastern Guilford (Gibsonville, NC). The Wildcats come into the battle with a 5-3 record. In their last battle, Eastern Guilford trounced Eastern Alamance (Mebane, NC), 55-52, in a non-league battle.
