In Thursday's non-league outing, the Aliquippa Quips (Aliquippa, PA) basketball squad edged the visiting West Philadelphia Speedboys (Philadelphia, PA), by a count of 45-40.
The Quips (4-1) will now prepare for their outing against Chartiers Valley (Bridgeville, PA). The Colts go into the non-league outing with a 8-0 record. In their last outing, Chartiers Valley held off Central Valley (Monaca, PA), 67-31, in a non-league outing.
