The Central Gwinnett Black Knights basketball team (Lawrenceville, GA), dropped 53-45 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Apalachee Wildcats (Winder, GA)
The Wildcats now possess a 4-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jackson County for a AAAAAA Region 8 battle on Tuesday, January 3. Apalachee will battle a Panthers team coming off a 65-39 non-league loss to Heritage (Conyers, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 1-12.
The Black Knights (2-9) will now prepare for their battle against Mill Creek (Hoschton, GA). The Hawks come into the AAAAAAA Region 8 battle with a 9-4 record.
