With the victory, Carrboro improves its record to 2-7 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Vance County (Henderson, NC) to play the Vipers in a 2A/3A Conference 18 challenge on Tuesday, January 3. The Vipers come into the challenge with a record of 3-7. Vance County lost 49-43 in their recent non-league challenge against Rolesville (Rolesville, NC)

Next up, the Cougars play the Riverside-Durham Pirates (Durham, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 30. Apex will attempt to improve on its 2-9 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 5-7 record after their 52-47 non-league loss to Southeast Raleigh (Raleigh, NC).
