Pharos Academy Gulls (Bronx, NY) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Archbishop Curley Friars (Baltimore, MD), 52-47 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Pharos Academy upgrades its record to 7-2 on the season. The Gulls travel to Berks Catholic (Reading, PA) to clash with the Saints in a non-league bout on Friday, December 30. The Saints go into the bout with a record of 7-0. Berks Catholic won 67-63 in their recent non-league bout against Trinity (Camp Hill, PA)

Next up, the Friars clash with the Trinity Shamrocks (Camp Hill, PA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 30. Archbishop Curley will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record. The Shamrocks go into the bout with a 5-2 record after their 67-63 non-league loss to Berks Catholic (Reading, PA).
