The Batesburg-Leesville Panthers basketball team scored 44 points and restricted the visiting King Academy Knights to 35 in the Panthers non-league victory on Thursday.

The Panthers now sport a 5-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ben Lippen for a non-league contest on Friday, December 30. Batesburg-Leesville will battle a Falcons team coming off a 65-43 non-league win over Ridge Spring-Monetta (Monetta, SC). The Falcons record now stands at 10-1.

The Knights (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Ridge Spring-Monetta (Monetta, SC). The Trojans come into the non-league contest with a 1-6 record. In their last contest, Ridge Spring-Monetta was defeated by Ben Lippen (Columbia, SC), 65-43, in a non-league contest.
