The Beecher Bobcats basketball team scored 72 points and restricted the visiting Morrison Mustangs to 50 in the Bobcats non-league victory on Thursday.

The Bobcats now sport a 13-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Newton for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 3. Beecher will battle a Rebels team coming off a 59-41 league loss to Frontier (Chalmers, IN). The Rebels record now stands at 0-6.

The Mustangs (7-5) will now prepare for their contest against Riverdale (Port Byron, IL). The Rams come into the non-league contest with a 9-6 record. In their last contest, Riverdale was routed by Newman Central Catholic (Sterling, IL), 52-51, in a non-league contest.
