The Pecos Panthers basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting Bernalillo Spartans to 51 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Panthers now sport a 10-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Taos for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 10.

The Spartans (6-7) will now prepare for their contest against Gallup (Gallup, NM). The Bengals enter the non-league contest with a 6-4 record. In their last contest, Gallup ran past Taos (Taos, NM), 63-60, in a non-league contest.
