The Bertrand Vikings basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting Gibbon Buffaloes to 45 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Vikings now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Elm Creek for a non-league contest on Friday, December 30. Bertrand will meet a Buffaloes team coming off a 52-39 non-league win over Arcadia/Loup City (Arcadia, NE). The Buffaloes record now stands at 7-1.

The Buffaloes (1-6) will now prepare for their contest against Arcadia/Loup City (Arcadia, NE). The Rebels enter the non-league contest with a 3-5 record. In their last contest, Arcadia/Loup City was defeated by Elm Creek (Elm Creek, NE), 52-39, in a non-league contest.
