Blooming Prairie Awesome Blossoms (Blooming Prairie, MN) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Grand Meadow Superlarks (Grand Meadow, MN), 77-64 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Blooming Prairie upgrades its record to 3-4 on the campaign. The Awesome Blossoms host Kenyon-Wanamingo (Kenyon, MN) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Friday, January 6. The Knights come into the bout with a record of 8-2.

Next up, the Superlarks play the LeRoy-Ostrander Cardinals (LeRoy, MN) in a A Section 1 bout, on Friday, January 13. Grand Meadow will attempt to upgrade on its 0-9 season record.
