The Hudson Explorers basketball team (Hudson, OH), was nudged 48-46 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Boardman Spartans (Youngstown, OH)

The Spartans now possess a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Austintown-Fitch for a All-American battle on Friday, January 6.

The Explorers (4-5) will now prepare for their battle against Nordonia (Macedonia, OH). The Knights come into the Suburban - National battle with a 7-1 record. In their last battle, Nordonia was nudged by Brush (Lyndhurst, OH), 63-47, in a non-league battle.
