Texas High School Basketball - Brazos Christian can't hold off Rockdale

The Rockdale Tigers basketball team scored 47 points and held the host Brazos Christian Eagles to 40 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Tigers now sport a 4-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Thorndale for a non-league contest on Friday, December 30. Rockdale will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 39-38 non-league win over Troy (Troy, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 13-5.

The Eagles (9-6) will now prepare for their contest against Sealy (Sealy, TX). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 9-5 record. In their last contest, Sealy was nudged by Mumford (Mumford, TX), 57-30, in a non-league contest.
