In Thursday's non-league outing, the Tyler Lions (Tyler, TX) basketball squad felled the visiting Brownsboro Bears (Brownsboro, TX), by a margin of 51-40.
The Lions (11-5) will now prepare for their outing against Pine Tree (Longview, TX). The Pirates go into the 5A Region II District 15 outing with a 9-6 record. In their last outing, Pine Tree was beaten by Grand Oaks (Spring, TX), 62-46, in a non-league outing.
