Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Burlington Demons (Burlington, WI) and the host St. Joseph Lancers (Kenosha, WI), saw Burlington's basketball squad overcome St. Joseph by a tally of 52-42.
With the victory, Burlington improves its record to 8-0 on the campaign. The Demons host Union Grove (Union Grove, WI) to confront the Broncos in a Southern Lakes challenge on Friday, January 6. The Broncos come into the challenge with a record of 6-2. Union Grove won 69-67 in their recent non-league challenge against Racine Park (Racine, WI)
Next up, the Lancers confront the Shoreland Lutheran Pacers (Somers, WI) in a Metro Classic challenge, on Friday, January 6. St. Joseph will attempt to improve on its 7-2 season record. The Pacers come into the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 69-28 non-league win over Kenosha Reuther (Kenosha, WI).
