Georgia High School Basketball - Carver can't hold off McIntosh

The McIntosh Chiefs basketball team scored 49 points and restricted the host Carver Tigers to 42 in the Chiefs non-league victory on Thursday.

The Chiefs now sport a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Opelika for a non-league contest on Friday, December 30. McIntosh will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 64-33 non-league win over Harris County (Hamilton, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-4.

The Tigers (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Valley (Valley, AL). The Rams come into the non-league contest with a 13-0 record. In their last contest, Valley edged Woodland (Stockbridge, GA), 69-58, in a non-league contest.
