Centennial Spartans (Burleson, TX) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Plainview Bulldogs (Plainview, TX), 77-51 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Centennial upgrades its record to 17-4 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Midland Legacy (Midland, TX) to play the Rebels in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 29. The Rebels come into the bout with a record of 1-15. Midland Legacy lost 54-41 in their recent non-league bout against Spring Woods (Houston, TX)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Levelland Lobos (Levelland, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Plainview will attempt to upgrade on its 7-11 season record. The Lobos come into the bout with a 9-10 record after their 54-41 non-league loss to Childress (Childress, TX).
