Virginia High School Basketball - Courtland can't hold off Charles J. Colgan

December 29, 2022: Spotsylvania, VA 22553

The Charles J. Colgan Sharks basketball team scored 59 points and held the host Courtland Cougars to 54 in the Sharks non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Sharks now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Forest Park for a Eastern contest on Tuesday, January 3. Charles J. Colgan will battle a Bruins team coming off a 58-47 non-league loss to South County (Lorton, VA). The Bruins record now stands at 5-3.

The Cougars (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Chancellor (Fredericksburg, VA). The Chargers enter the Battlefield contest with a 1-6 record. In their last contest, Chancellor nudged Spotsylvania (Spotsylvania, VA), 62-50, in a league contest.
