Lake Belton Broncos (Temple, TX) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host China Spring Cougars (China Spring, TX), 57-51 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lake Belton upgrades its record to 12-7 on the season. The Broncos travel to East View (Georgetown, TX) to play the Patriots in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 29. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 15-6. East View won 55-39 in their recent non-league bout against Midlothian Heritage (Midlothian, TX)

Next up, the Cougars play the San Angelo Central Bobcats (San Angelo, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 3. China Spring will attempt to upgrade on its 14-6 season record. The Bobcats go into the bout with a 14-2 record after their 42-34 non-league win over Cooper (Abilene, TX).
