In Thursday's non-league match, the host Coginchaug Regional Blue Devils basketball team scored a tight 54-52 triumph over the Lyman Hall Trojans.
In their next game, the Blue Devils meet the Hale Ray Noises (Moodus, CT) in a Shoreline match, on Tuesday, January 3. Coginchaug Regional will attempt to move on its 2-4 season record. The Noises enter the match with a 1-2 record after their 65-31 non-league win over Plainfield (Central Village, CT).
