With the victory, Shallowater improves its record to 10-2 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Snyder (Snyder, TX) to confront the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 6. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 5-13.

Next up, the Cadets confront the Ponder Lions (Ponder, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 30. Connally will attempt to improve on its 14-4 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 7-2 record after their 53-51 non-league win over LaPoynor (LaRue, TX).
