In Thursday's non-league outing, the Summer Creek Bulldogs (Houston, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Copperas Cove Bulldawgs (Copperas Cove, TX), by a margin of 55-31.
The Bulldogs (16-4) will now prepare for their outing against Kingwood (Kingwood, TX). The Mustangs go into the 6A Region III District 21 outing with a 5-14 record. In their last outing, Kingwood smashed Alief Elsik (Houston, TX), 47-33, in a non-league outing.
The Bulldawgs now own a 11-10 record. They play next when they travel to Midway for a 6A Region II District 12 outing on Tuesday, January 3. Copperas Cove will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 58-40 non-league win over Montgomery (Montgomery, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 11-7.
