North Carolina High School Basketball - East Chapel Hill nipped by Middle Creek

The Middle Creek Mustangs tipped the host East Chapel Hill Wildcats basketball team by a final score of 52-46 in Thursday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Mustangs face the Eastern Randolph Wildcats (Ramseur, NC) in a non-league game, on Friday, December 30. Middle Creek will attempt to move on its 4-7 season record. The Wildcats enter the game with a 9-1 record after their 103-47 non-league win over Western Harnett (Lillington, NC).

With the defeat, East Chapel Hill moves to 5-5 on the year. The Wildcats host Hillside (Durham, NC) to face the Hornets in a 4A Conference 30 game on Tuesday, January 3. The Hornets enter the game with a record of 6-5. Hillside won 75-58 in their recent non-league game against Cummings (Burlington, NC)
