The Fairdale Bulldogs basketball team scored 72 points and held the visiting Hughes BIG RED to 53 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Valley for a District 21 contest on Tuesday, January 3. Fairdale will battle a Vikings team coming off a 80-57 non-league loss to Columbus HomeSchool (Columbus, IN). The Vikings record now stands at 1-7.

The BIG RED (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against Roger Bacon (Cincinnati, OH). The Spartans enter the non-league contest with a 4-6 record. In their last contest, Roger Bacon was defeated by Holy Cross (Covington, KY), 69-36, in a non-league contest.
