Minnesota High School Basketball - New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva can't hold off Fairmont

The Fairmont Cardinals basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the visiting New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva Panthers to 54 in the Cardinals non-league victory on Thursday.
The Cardinals now sport a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Waseca for a non-league contest on Monday, January 9.
The Panthers (1-8) will now prepare for their contest against United South Central (Wells, MN). The Rebels come into the A Section 2 contest with a 3-2 record.
