Frontier Titans (Bakersfield, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Hoover Patriots (Fresno, CA), 50-31 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Frontier upgrades its record to 6-8 on the season. The Titans travel to Mission Oak (Tulare, CA) to play the Hawks in a non-league bout on Friday, December 30. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 3-12. Mission Oak won 62-54 in their recent non-league bout against East Bakersfield (Bakersfield, CA)

Next up, the Patriots play the Sanger West Hornets (Fresno, CA) in a County/Metro bout, on Wednesday, January 4. Hoover will attempt to upgrade on its 1-14 season record. The Hornets go into the bout with a 2-11 record after their 49-46 non-league loss to Tranquillity (Tranquillity, CA).
