Tenafly Tigers (Tenafly, NJ) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Garfield Boilermakers (Garfield, NJ), 67-28 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Tenafly upgrades its record to 2-2 on the season. The Tigers travel to Pascack Valley (Hillsdale, NJ) to play the Panthers in a Big North - National bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 4-3.

Next up, the Boilermakers play the Saddle Brook Falcons (Saddle Brook, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 4. Garfield will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 0-8 record after their 84-36 non-league loss to Lyndhurst (Lyndhurst, NJ).
