The McDonogh Eagles topped the host Geneva Panthers basketball team by a final score of 47-36 in Thursday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Eagles face the Mt. St. Michael Academy Mountaineers (Bronx, NY) in a non-league game, on Friday, December 30. McDonogh will attempt to move on its 8-4 season record.
With the defeat, Geneva moves to 3-1 on the year. The Panthers travel to Palmyra-Macedon (Palmyra, NY) to face the Red Raiders in a Section 5 Finger Lakes - East game on Thursday, January 5. The Red Raiders enter the game with a record of 4-4. Palmyra-Macedon lost 76-52 in their recent non-league game against Union-Endicott (Endicott, NY)
