Groesbeck Goats (Groesbeck, TX) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host West Trojans (West, TX), 58-35 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Groesbeck upgrades its record to 10-8 on the season. The Goats travel to C.H. Yoe (Cameron, TX) to play the Yoemen in a non-league bout on Friday, December 30. The Yoemen go into the bout with a record of 11-4. C.H. Yoe won 73-43 in their recent non-league bout against Robinson (Robinson, TX)

Next up, the Trojans play the Keene Chargers (Keene, TX) in a 3A Region III District 17 bout, on Friday, January 13. West will attempt to upgrade on its 0-12 season record.
