Hubbard Greyhounds (Chicago, IL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Hancock Eagles (Chicago, IL), 31-26 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Hubbard upgrades its record to 4-4 on the season. The Greyhounds travel to Phoenix Military (Chicago, IL) to clash with the Firebird in a non-league bout on Friday, December 30. The Firebird go into the bout with a record of 7-4. Phoenix Military won 42-39 in their recent non-league bout against Juarez (Chicago, IL)

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Instituto Health Sciences Phoenix (Chicago, IL) in a Chicago Public - Blue Central bout, on Thursday, January 12. Hancock will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record.
