Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Highland Hornets (Medina, OH) and the visiting Woodridge Bulldogs (Peninsula, OH), saw Highland's basketball squad wallop Woodridge by a count of 69-45.

With the victory, Highland upgrades its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Hornets host Revere (Richfield, OH) to play the Minutemen in a Suburban - American challenge on Tuesday, January 3. The Minutemen come into the challenge with a record of 8-2. Revere won 71-68 in their recent non-league challenge against Brookside (Sheffield, OH)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Field Falcons (Mogadore, OH) in a Metro challenge, on Friday, January 6. Woodridge will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record.
